Smashers: YouTube De-Platformed Me; Here's My Response

Well Hello Everyone, I hope you are all doing well & its great to see you all reading today

Its been a while since I’ve made a video like this, direct to camera, I’ve taken the liberty of typing My thoughts on this situation in a word document, which I am currently reading now, imagine hearing me say this, in your head, here’s to no bloopers, & what a remarkable experience I have gone through recently, I always wondered what it was like to be De-Platformed, since I’ve seen so many examples, over the years & to experience it myself has been very interesting.

In a way, I’ve found this whole experience to be rather liberating, like a burden has been eased off my shoulders, that the responsibility for what I do, for My Thoughts, Suggestions, Rising Stars & Reality Based, has been passed on & that I can just relax now, focusing entirely on my creative endeavours, Ryan Roger Athay is Gone, Reality Based is Dead, I guess you could call this a Digital Death, or better yet, a Digital Murder, considering the circumstances of my De-Platforming from YouTube, yet my Creator Journey cannot end here, this is just the beginning, I’m 25 & I plan on doing this for the next 25 years, at least, all those years, all those videos, all those shows, all those great talks & all those great friends made, gone in a Thanos Snap.

The Support I have received, publicly & privately, as a result of this situation has been touching, old friends & new have reached out & I am thankful for that, one thing about being Reality Based is having too much to do, too little time to do it & far less time to sit down & catch up with all those great people, that’s why I host shows & be a Guest on Shows, so I can catch up with all these great people, for now, we’ll be here, on Rumble & who knows, you might see these videos & shows on X soon, you never though, one thing at a time, is the best way to go.

For the moment, videos & shows will be on Rumble, Reality Based will make its Rumble Debut Tomorrow, this Friday, at 9pm UK, 4pm Eastern, 1pm Pacific, with the debut Episode of Reality Based: Legacy, since we have a Legacy to rebuild, we’ll go from there, hopefully, everyone will enjoy the show.

Now, as for Me On Other Shows, that’s a bit more complicated, as Hypno (Hypnotic) informed me, YouTube isn’t a fan of Creators Platforming the De-Platformed, though my channel appeal is still being reviewed, if it passes, then I can be a Guest of other creators, if not, then I’ve got a lot more spare time, to make videos & host shows, expect more directed videos like this, in 4k no less, they’ll have to be shorter videos, for processing sake.

I will make one thing clear though, no matter the outcome, My Journey is far from over, despite this, Reality Based has influenced hundreds of fine folks & fellow creators, de-platforming me sets a very dangerous precedent, since most of my videos were made, from show appearances I was on, dating back to early 2024, if I can be de-platformed, then all those fellow creators can be too, everyone I’ve ever featured could be de-platformed too, even if I’ve talked to them once, a very dangerous precedent, though not matter, on YouTube at least, our Regulars can be Reality Based in our stead.

Because Reality Based is not a person, not channel, not a movement, Reality Based is an Ideal, I dare say its The Ideal, That I strife for & I encourage others to strife for too, such an Ideal can only be gained through the Triumph of Reality Based & we were almost there, so close, yet so far, though this situation has only delayed the inevitable, now after nearly 4 years of practice, I can rebuild again, in a much safer Rumble Platform & shine again, I’ve got time to burn & since my schedule is a lot lighter, due to YouTube’s De-platforming, expect plenty of videos, plenty of shows & Plenty of videos from said shows, starting tomorrow, so stay tuned to an exciting new Chapter in My Creator Journey, so until next time, ladies & gentlemen, bye for now. ~Ryan
